Complaints Procedure

How to exercise your rights for a defectively provided service or farm rental with Royal Lavender.

1. Provider

2. Rights from defective performance

The provider warrants to the client that the service or rental provided corresponds to what was agreed (scope, date and conditions stated when the booking was confirmed).

The client may assert a defect without undue delay after discovering it, at the latest by the end of the agreed event or rental, unless the nature of the defect allows it to be claimed later.

3. What cannot be claimed

A claim cannot be made in particular in the following cases:

  • circumstances beyond the provider’s control (e.g. adverse weather),
  • changes made at the client’s request or caused by the client,
  • defects of which the client was informed in advance and accepted.

4. How to make a claim

A claim must be made without undue delay after discovering the defect.

The client shall send:

  • a description of the defect,
  • the booking date,
  • a photo or other evidence of the defect (where possible)

5. How claims are handled

The client is entitled to:

  • remedy of the defect (e.g. correction during the ongoing event, where possible),
  • a reasonable price reduction,
  • withdrawal from the contract (in the case of a material breach).

The manner of handling the claim is decided by the provider in accordance with applicable law.

6. Time limit for handling claims

The claim will be handled no later than 30 days from its submission, unless the provider and client agree otherwise.

7. Final provisions

This complaints procedure is valid and effective from the date of its publication on the provider’s website.

The provider reserves the right to amend it to a reasonable extent in accordance with legal regulations.
